Day 1: MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMPA (L)(D)
Bus Transfer Hotel –Station in approximately 3 hour trip to Mollepata.
Waking tour with our guide and horse leaders to Sayllapata where we will have lunch together with an spectacular view of the Humantay ice peak,
Then we continue to reach the same altitude as the Titicaca Lake 3850 m.u.a.s.l
The place is known as Soraypampa where we are going to have dinner and camping between 2 ice peaks
Day 2: SORAYPAMPA – COLPAPAMPA (B)(L)(D)
After breakfast we start going up in a aproximately 4 hour climbing .Our road gets narrower until we reach 4600 m.u.a.s.l this place is known as Salkantay Pass
Highest point of the mountain which is considered as the Sacred Mountain, in this place we are going to make an offering to this mountain; then we descend in a 2 hour walk to Huairac Punku place for lunch
Next we go down in a 3 hour walk entering into the zone of rainforest paradise of flora like orchids as far as Colpa Pampa (2800 m.u.a.s.l) camping place
Day 3: COLPAPAMPA – SANTA TERESA (B)(L)(D)
We have a full green vegetation tour on a 4-hour walking tour through gorges, bridge crossings water falls watching and the origin of Santa Teresa River where we stop for resting in huts. There we are going to see plantations of passion fruit, coffee, banana, papaya, squash and orange. As far as Sahuayacco or Playa where we stop for lunch and last place with horses since we are going to continue in a one hour ride to Santa Teresa where we recommend to enjoy the medicinal hot springs the biggest ones in Cusco at only l850 m.u.a.s.l. Then we camp and have nice bonfires in this place.
Day 4: SANTA TERESA – AGUAS CALIENTES (B)(L)(D)
During this day we are crossing the cable Bridge for two people over the Urubamba River and we continue on a two hour ride along the flat road as far as the Hydroelectric Power Plant where we stop for lunch and then we continue for 3 more hours through the Canyon as far as Aguas Calientes. We can also take the one hour train and then we have free time for relaxing in the tourist town of Machupicchu We stay overnight in a hotel and then dinner.
Day 5: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO (B)
Departure by bus to Machupicchu at approximately 5.30 am .where we will enjoy the sunrise top side of the photographs. Then our guide will lead us to visit the Citadel in a two hour visit. Next you will have a happy free hour. Recommendable Waynapicchu, Inca Bridge and other sites surrounding these areas of the complex..
In the afternoon when we return to Aguas Calientes you can stroll in this town visiting restaurants, handicraft shops, bookstores, medicinal Hot Springs until we finally return to Cusco by train.
